Using the Answer Button

When a call is detected by ICM, an Incoming Call Pop-up Window is displayed showing information about the caller.  The Incoming Call Pop-up Window's Answer button will disconnect you from the Internet and redirect the call back to your phone line so you can answer it.

To answer incoming calls:

Click the Answer Button on the Incoming Call Pop-up Window:

The caller hears the following message:

"The person you are calling is on the phone and they have been notified of your call. Please wait; they wish to take your call."

Note:  At the same time, ICM disconnects you from the Internet and redirects the call back to your phone line.  Depending on how you set up Internet Call Manager, you may be prompted to confirm that you want to disconnect prior to the disconnect taking place.  For details, refer to Confirm Disconnect on Answer.

Seconds later your phone will ring with the incoming call.
